Terms & Conditions

You must be at least 18 years old and an Indian taxpayer (or authorized to act for one) to use the Platform.

TaxAItion provides AI-assisted preparation and electronic filing of income-tax returns (currently ITR-1 and ITR-2) and related tax tools. Returns that fall outside self-filing scope may be routed, with your consent, to independent Chartered Accountants in our partner network ("CA Partners") who provide those services directly to you.

For self-filed returns, the Platform is a software tool that assists you; you remain responsible for the accuracy and completeness of your return and for filing it.

For CA-Partner services, the CA acts as an independent professional and is responsible for the advice they provide.

You agree to:

1. provide accurate, complete and current information (PAN, Aadhaar, income details, bank details, etc.);
2. review your return before filing;
3. keep your login credentials confidential;
4. use the Platform only for lawful purposes and only for your own returns or returns you are authorized to file.

You are solely responsible for the legal consequences of any return filed using your account.

Access is on a pay-per-return basis. Fees are displayed before you pay and are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). All fees are subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated; applicable GST will be added.

The Platform interacts with third parties including the Income Tax Department e-filing portal, Razorpay (payments), communication providers, cloud infrastructure, and CA Partners. Your use of those services may be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of third parties or for downtime of the government portal.

All Platform software, design, content and trademarks are owned by Vipas Technologies. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the data you submit.

You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, misuse, or use the Platform to file fraudulent returns or to impersonate others.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Platform is limited to the fees you paid for the specific return giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, for penalties or interest arising from inaccurate information you provided, or for outcomes of returns you reviewed and confirmed.

You agree to indemnify Vipas Technologies against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or from inaccurate or unlawful information you submit.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to applicable consumer-protection rights.

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified on the Platform.
