How Vipas Technologies collects, uses, and protects your personal data under the DPDP Act 2023 and IT Act 2000.
Vipas Technologies ("we") operates TaxAItion and is the data fiduciary for personal data processed on the Platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the SPDI Rules under the IT Act, 2000.
To prepare, compute and file your returns; auto-fetch your documents; route complex returns to CA Partners (with your consent); process payments; provide support; send service communications; and meet legal/tax obligations.
We process your data based on the consent you give when you use the Platform and to provide the service you request.
We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (tax records are generally required to be kept for several years), after which we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements).
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; you also help by keeping your credentials confidential.
Subject to law, you can access, correct, or request deletion of your data, withdraw consent, and raise grievances. Contact our Grievance Officer (see Contact & Grievance).
The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18.
We may update this policy and will post changes on the Platform.
See our Contact & Grievance page.
